The move is done and all links are updated.  Checklist Tree is now at http://checklisttree.sourceforge.net!

SourceForge approved Checklist Tree for hosting!  So a few changes are going to happen:

1. The page will move to sourcefoge.net servers as soon as I get a chance.
2. The source code will be in sourceforge’s subversion repository.
3. The releases will move to sourceforge.
4. The links on the software section will point to the project page on sourceforge.
5. The license will switch from public domain to GPL.  I see needing to use some GPL code in the future, so I might as well.

Hopefully the move will be smooth…hopefully

It’s coming soon — I’m still working on making it possible to hide checked nodes.  There’s a lot of functionality that WinForms on .NET Compact Framework just doesn’t have, sadly.

I’m redesigning the preferences backend, adding some *much* needed features and clearing some bugs I’ve collected since 1.2 was released.  I’ll try to peel myself away from my new iPhone to get this released quickly.

I finally got around to posting Project Stack up in the software section.  Go check it out!

I threw a new application together out of neccessity in a couple of hours this morning…it’s coming to the software section soon.

Project Stack is just a stack based project organizer.  Promote and demote projects as priorities change.  Double click to edit.

Pretty simple, here’s a screenshot.  Click for larger version.  I’ll add this formally to the software section later today or tomorrow.

I just updated Checklist Tree to version 1.2.  Here’s the changes:

• Requirements change. Now requires .NET Compact Framework 3.5
• Hardkeys do things. Left/right expands/collapses node. Up/Down scrolls through. Center button press selects/deselects.
• Last used file is stored in the registry and will open when the app starts up.
• About dialog with support links added.
• Versioning scheme changed to Major.Minor from DATE
• Context menu now has an option to copy the node contents to the clipboard
• HTML Changelog (this file)
• New icon

Go check it out in the software section.  Remember to uninstall any previous versions of the software before you install the new cab.

So I just uninstalled office 2007. It was too slow, and I’m sick of dealing with it. So, anyone who’s using my MyPoints addin for office 2007, sorry…I’m not going to maintain that version anymore. I’m only supporting the Office 2003 version at this point.

Maybe if M$ ever gets their shit together and makes it so Outlook (the only part of office I really use, simply so I can sync my Axim) isn’t so fucking slow (and they fix the user interface, that fucking “ribbon” needs to die a horrible death) I’ll go back to 2007, but until then, yea…

There’s a new version of my ChecklistTree application in the software section. Here are the new features for version 1.1.2007.0326:

• Filename is now displayed, and editor state (red=dirty,green=clean) is represented by color
• Save behavior changed to speed up the application
• Bug fixes with the save/load and invalid XML characters
• Parent nodes auto-check when their child nodes are all checked (and vice versa)
• Parent nodes uncheck if they are checked and one of their children becomes unchecked
